SHIPPING - FABRICS

Fabric - Shipping (Fabric Orders Only)

Fabric orders are made to order. Most fabrics are delivered within 10–14 days from order confirmation, after the end of the 24-hour grace period, but this delivery timeframe is an estimate only and is not guaranteed.

 

Fabric - Shipping Method

We deliver orders via fully tracked delivery services, including Royal Mail (UK only) and DHL. For deliveries outside the United Kingdom, a local courier may complete the final stage of delivery.

 

Fabric - Shipping Cost

We do not charge for shipping for orders within the UK (apart from roll delivery orders). For international orders, shipping charges vary based on the delivery location and the total weight of your order. To view the applicable shipping cost, please add the selected fabric to your basket.

 

We offer international shipping to a wide range of destinations. We currently ship to the following countries and territories:

 

Albania, Andorra, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia, Türkiye, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United States (mainland only; excluding U.S. territories), Vatican City, and Vietnam.

 

If your destination country is not included in our standard delivery list, please get in touch with us. We can provide a manual courier quote tailored to your location.

 

Customs & Import Duties

For deliveries outside the United Kingdom, orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, customs charges, and/or courier administration fees imposed by the destination country or carrier. Such charges are not included in the prices paid to Studio Hallam and are solely the responsibility of the customer.

 

All customs-related charges are determined by the relevant authorities in the country of import and are outside the control of Studio Hallam. Payment of these charges may be required prior to release of the goods or upon delivery. Any import duties, taxes, or administration fees are non-refundable. Studio Hallam accepts no liability for delays, non-delivery, or disposal of goods arising from the customer’s failure to pay such charges. Orders that are refused or not released due to unpaid customs or administration fees will not be eligible for a refund and may be destroyed or otherwise disposed of by customs authorities.

 

Fabric Roll Delivery

For orders over 1m in length, we can send your fabric out on a roll. Roll delivery is not available for international shipping.

 

Orders placed using this shipping method will be sent unfolded on a single roll or multiple rolls. We cannot guarantee it will be sent as a single piece of fabric. If you have specific requirements as to how the fabric is sent, please get in touch. 

 

SHIPPING - LAMPSHADES

Lampshade - Orders (Lampshade Orders Only)
Lampshades are made to order. Lampshades are not available to order through the website checkout. To order a lampshade, please email Studio Hallam on studio@studiohallam.com

 

The website lampshade prices exclude delivery. The final cost confirmed by Studio Hallam will include delivery based on the delivery destination. No VAT is charged while Studio Hallam is not VAT registered. The estimated lead time for lampshade production is 4 – 6 weeks.

 

Lampshade - Shipping Estimates

Any dispatch dates, delivery dates or delivery times provided for lampshades are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

 

Lampshade delivery may be arranged through independent third-party carriers. Studio Hallam is not liable for delays caused by carriers, adverse weather conditions, traffic disruption, supply chain issues, or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

 

Lampshades will be delivered or posted. Non-UK delivery may be available at Studio Hallam’s discretion and must be agreed in writing.

 

Before ordering, please check and confirm the correct delivery address, any access details relevant to delivery, and any shipping-relevant lampshade specifications.

You should inspect lampshades promptly on delivery and notify Studio Hallam of any visible damage, shortages, or delivery discrepancies within 48 hours of receipt, so that Studio Hallam can raise the issue with the relevant delivery or manufacturing partner. This does not affect your statutory rights. Risk in lampshades passes to you upon delivery to your nominated address.
If you fail to accept delivery, provide necessary delivery information, or rearrange delivery within a reasonable period, Studio Hallam may charge you for, or deduct from any refund or other amount due to you, any reasonable storage, handling, redelivery, courier or related costs incurred by Studio Hallam.
