Amaranthine in Madder Red & Linen Ash

Inspired by England's bucolic landscapes, Amaranthine captures the quiet beauty of winding hedgerows, time-worn cottage gardens and the gentle rhythm of the countryside.

Its flowing botanical vines wander with an unhurried grace, while richly coloured blooms in warm Madder Red are softened by Linen Ash, delicate ochres and muted sage greens. There is something reassuringly familiar about the design, as though it belongs to a house with well-thumbed books, polished oak furniture, linen curtains drifting through open windows, and afternoons that seem to last a little longer.

Printed in England onto traditional Buckram book cloth, the woven texture lends remarkable depth and character to every detail of the artwork. Finished with a cream card lining and carefully handcrafted in England, each lampshade celebrates British craftsmanship and is made to become a lasting feature within your home.

Whether placed in a country cottage, a Georgian townhouse or a contemporary interior seeking warmth and character, Amaranthine brings a quiet elegance that sits comfortably amongst both traditional and modern furnishings. It is a lampshade designed not simply to illuminate a room, but to make a space feel lived in, loved and unmistakably home.

Recommended Bulb

For the best colour rendition and ambience, we recommend using:

  • LED bulb

  • Warm white (2700K)

  • 6–8W LED (equivalent to a traditional 40–60W incandescent bulb)

  • CRI 90+ where possible for the most natural rendering of colours

LED bulbs produce very little heat, helping to preserve the beauty of your lampshade while providing a warm, inviting glow. Maximum recommended wattage: 10W LED.

Care

To keep your Studio Hallam lampshade looking its best:

  • Dust regularly using a soft, dry microfibre cloth or a feather duster.

  • For more delicate areas, use a clean, soft artists' paintbrush to gently remove dust from the fabric.

  • Avoid using water, household cleaners or chemical sprays, as these may damage the printed surface or card lining.

  • Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight to help preserve the richness of the printed colours.

  • Always use an LED bulb to minimise heat build-up.
