The Odyssey Collection was born from a deep fascination with the decorative traditions of cultures connected by ancient trade routes – the idea that beauty has always travelled, that pattern has always been a kind of language spoken across borders, carried by ships and caravans, exchanged in markets and courts, and woven into the fabric of daily life across centuries and continents.

Each of the four designs in this collection begins with a cultural encounter, a moment of genuine wonder at the richness of a tradition far older than any single maker. Amara draws on the decorative vocabulary of Mughal India, floral motifs with delicate trailing vines and subtle geometric details that carries the eye through an endlessly unfolding garden. Iznik takes its name and its spirit from the Ottoman world, the tulip as imperial flower, the pomegranate as the symbol of abundance, the cypress as the quiet constant of every Turkish landscape. Tulipière celebrates the iconic Dutch tulip vases and the intricate beauty of antique Delftware. And Hardwick honours the Jacobean tradition of England, the fantastical crewelwork vine, the exotic bloom, the sinuous stem winding through the great embroidered interiors of the English country house.
